Biography Jimmy began his life of professional photography in Southern Vermont where he ran his own gallery featuring his "Room with a View" landscapes. In 2004 he was awarded first place in photography by Art on the Mountain. An International juried art competition in Southern Vermont. Returning to New York at the end of 2005 Jimmy has quickly become one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the city with over 200 weddings under his belt.
In 2009 he was asked to teach the Creative Weddings workshop at the International Center of Photography in New York City. He has photographed weddings from Amagansett, NY to Zihuatanejo, Mexico and lots of places in between. His work has been featured in many international publications including Manhattan Bride Magazine and the Sunday Styles Section of The New York Times. Jimmy's relaxed style coupled with his fashion and music sensibilities have brought him an impressive client list ranging from the worlds of entertainment and sports to some of the most powerful women in fashion.
Jimmy comes to wedding photography with a rich background in landscapes and live music with artists including Martin Sexton, Patty Griffin and Ray Lamontagne as well as jazz greats Peter Washington and Jeremey Pelt. Jimmy also has a passion for portraiture and headshots and shoots actors, musicians and other artists at his studio in Union Square. Jimmy is a proud member of The Professional Photographer's of America and is also available for corporate events.
